Precision LED light source is indicated for use to provide real-time endoscopic visibility. The use of LED technology eliminates the need to change a light bulb, reducing lifetime ownership cost and environmental waste. The light source design is compatible with Stryker’s Safelight scope-sensing technology which gives users the ability to put the light source into standby mode when the scope is disconnected from the light cable. This safety feature is designed to minimize light output if the fiber optic light cable is not connected to the scope adapter, which prevents exposure to high-intensity light and accidental burns.¹
